ABOUT
Hello! My name is Sabrina Vega, I’m a Swiss illustrator and graphic designer. I’ve been working as a freelancer since I obtained my Bachelor in Graphic Design, 3 years ago, and now I’d like to experience what it’s like to be in a studio environment.
Paper or digital, video, 3D, painting, airbrush, sculpture, sewing, makeup, photography – I do a lot of things and I don’t want to limit myself to one single direction. I’m always open to new challenges, both practically and thematically.
I’m mostly interested in everything bold, open-minded and experimental, that I like to put in contrast with my knowledge of graphic traditions and structural rules –inherited from my Swiss background and studies.
I curate a library of inspirations at once punk, tropical and psychedelic, ranging from religious engravings to mangas and everything in between to fuel my creativity and give my projects a singular twist.
When I’m not drawing, you can find me obsessing over movies, reading weird graphic novels and exploring the woods with my camera. I also like funky music and cats with tiny hats.
